Lost Pup is a direction memory game. A scruffy pup sits on a sunny park map, then dashes into the tall grass. Arrows play one at a time (up, up, left, down…) while nothing on the map moves. Follow the directions in your head, then tap the spot where the pup ended up. Right, and it pops out wagging. Wrong, and its paw prints show you where it really went.
Every level adds steps and speeds up the arrows, and the park grows from 5×5 to 7×7. Then, from level 6, the directions switch to the pup’s point of view: turn left means the pup’s left, not yours. It’s a mental map puzzle that takes seconds to learn.
Lost Pup is part of Unrot, a series of short games that each put one mental skill to the test: memory, attention, speed or logic. Zero brainrot.
How to play
- Watch where the pup starts, then watch the arrows. The map never moves.
- When the arrows stop, tap the spot where the pup ended up.
- A wrong spot is a strike. Three strikes and the run is over.
- From level 6, directions are pup’s-eye: forward, turn left, turn right, turn around, from the way the pup is facing. From level 11, rounds mix both kinds.
Scoring
- Your score is the level you reach.
- A level cleared with no strike is clean, and clean levels break ties.
- Play the Daily for one scored run on the same routes as everyone else, and keep your Unrot streak alive.
Tips
- Use the landmarks. “Two right of the fountain” is easier to hold than a list of arrows.
- Move a dot in your head with every arrow, instead of memorizing the arrows and adding them up at the end.
- Arrows that cancel out (up then down) cancel out. Skip them in your head.
- On pup’s-eye rounds, track the way the pup faces after every turn. Facing down flips left and right.
