Stackers is a peg puzzle game about planning ahead. Three wooden pegs, a few round critters with faces, and a goal card that shows where everyone needs to be. Move one critter at a time, only from the top of a stack, and never onto a full peg. Every board comes with a par, the fewest moves it can be done in. Hit it and it’s a PERFECT.
It’s the classic Tower of London puzzle, rebuilt as a 90-second run. Boards get longer as you go, from par 2 up to par 7, a fourth critter joins the box, and then the twist lands: one look. The goal card flips face down the moment you make your first move, so you have to plan the whole thing before you touch anything.
Stackers is part of Unrot, a series of short games that each put one mental skill to the test: memory, attention, speed or logic. Zero brainrot.
How to play
- Look at the goal card and its par.
- Tap a peg to lift its top critter, then tap another peg to drop it. Dragging works too.
- The pegs hold 3, 2 and 1. A full peg won’t take another critter.
- Match the card in par moves for a PERFECT. Go over and you still solve it, for half the points.
- Stuck? Reset puts the board back to its start for 2 seconds.
- On one look boards, the card flips face down on your first move. Hold it to peek, for 2 seconds.
Scoring
- Each solve is worth 100 points per par move. Over par pays half.
- PERFECTs in a row build a multiplier, up to ×4. An over-par solve resets it.
- PERFECTs push the par up; two over-par solves in a row bring it back down.
- Play the Daily for one scored run on the same boards as everyone else, and keep your Unrot streak alive.
Tips
- Solve it backwards: which critter has to end up at the bottom? Get that peg clear first.
- The one-slot peg is your parking space. Plan who parks there, and when.
- On one look boards, say the plan out loud before your first move: “red to three, blue to two…”
- A reset costs less than a messy finish if you’ve already wasted a move and there’s time left.
