Tip the Scales is a balance puzzle about fruit with opinions. Clue scales at the top show what weighs what: two apples weigh the same as one melon, a lemon is heavier than a blueberry. Below, a big brass scale holds fruit on both pans. Which way does it tip? Call it, and the scale lets go and tips for real.
It starts easy: one clue, one comparison. Then the clues start to chain. Two apples make a melon, a melon makes three cherries, so what beats what? It’s a weight logic puzzle where every answer can be worked out from the clues, with no guessing.
Tip the Scales is part of Unrot, a series of short games that each put one mental skill to the test: memory, attention, speed or logic. Zero brainrot.
How to play
- Read the clue scales up top. A level scale means both sides weigh the same. A tipped one means the low side is heavier.
- Look at the big scale. Answer Left if the left pan goes down, Right if the right one does, or Balanced.
- You have 90 seconds. A wrong call costs 4 seconds.
- From tier 3, or 45 seconds in, a mystery box shows up. Pick the option that balances it.
Scoring
- Every right answer scores points: more for harder tiers, and the most for a mystery box.
- Right answers in a row build a multiplier, up to ×5. A wrong answer resets it.
- Get it right and the puzzles get harder. Miss and they ease off.
- Play the Daily for one scored run on the same puzzles as everyone else, and keep your Unrot streak alive.
Tips
- Fruit that sits on both pans cancels out. Cross it off in your head first.
- Swap using the level clues: if two apples balance a melon, every melon can become two apples.
- A tipped clue only tells you which side is heavier, not by how much. If the answer needs “how much”, look for a level clue.
- For the mystery box, turn everything into the fruit on the option chips, one clue at a time.
