Mole Patrol is a whack a mole game online with a catch. Moles pop out of a 3×3 vegetable garden and you bonk them before they duck. Easy. Except the bunnies are innocent, some moles are wearing helmets, and at one point the rules flip on you. It’s a reaction game about speed, but mostly about knowing when not to press.
Every run lasts 60 seconds. The moles get quicker, more of them pop up at once, and more bunnies wander in. Whack moles in a row to build a combo multiplier up to ×4, and try not to lose it.
Mole Patrol is part of Unrot, a series of short games that each put one mental skill to the test: memory, attention, speed or logic. Zero brainrot.
How to play
- Tap a mole (or press its key) to whack it before it ducks back down.
- Leave the bunnies alone. Whacking one is a strike. Three strikes and the run is over.
- From 15 seconds, some moles slam on a steel helmet a moment after popping up. Whack a helmet and it’s a CLANG and a strike. Hands off.
- At 40 seconds: SWAP! For 6 seconds, whack the bunnies and spare the moles.
Scoring
- Every mole is worth 10 points × your combo: ×2 from 5 in a row, ×3 from 10, ×4 from 15.
- A mole that gets away breaks your combo (no strike).
- Play the Daily for one scored run on the same garden as everyone else, and keep your Unrot streak alive.
Tips
- Don’t swing at the first flicker. Wait half a beat: if a helmet is coming, you’ll see it.
- Watch the whole garden, not one hole. Your eyes should land before your finger does.
- On a keyboard, rest three fingers on 7 8 9 (or Q W E) and let the rows come to you.
- When the garden turns violet, say “bunnies” in your head. It helps. Probably.
